About me..

In 2017 after a long time in teaching, I decided to make a change and follow my heart into something that I really and truly wanted to do. I had long wanted to work with animals and so here I am!

I have always owned dogs and cats and I currently own three cats. JP and Leo are brothers who were adopted at 14 weeks. They are now nearly 15! JP has kidney issues and Leo has potential lymphoma so I have to keep a close eye on them. Rocket turned up outside the house one day and never left! His owner couldn't be found so he made this his furever home. He is now nearly 9 and thinks he's the boss.

As part of my own professional development I have completed several canine related courses through the Institute of Modern Dog Training (Perfect Puppy/Introduction To Training and 4 day Practical Instructor) and Nottingham Trent University Canine Centre (Separation Anxiety/Canine Behaviour). I have also completed webinars on holistic health, joint care, neutering and canine and feline dementia through 'Animal Love Pet First Aid' with senior vet Dr Sophie Bell. I am pet first aid qualified after completing an accredited canine and feline first aid course also provided by 'Animal Love Pet First Aid'. I refresh this every three years.

I absolutely love my job and couldn't think of a better way to spend my days than surrounded by animals.

Have a look below at my own 3 boys and at some of my wonderful work colleagues!
